Greetings,
My wife, Pam and I came to Blake’s Chapel in April of 2009. We left Dover, New Hampshire where I was Pastor
of Hope Community Church for fourteen years. However, I am not a stranger to North Carolina. My first
pastorate was at Smithfield Advent Christian Church in Smithfield, North Carolina, for nearly fifteen years.
At Blake’s Chapel we are not a perfect church, nor am I a perfect Pastor. As my Mom told my Dad when she
was upset with him one time, "There was only one perfect man who walked the face of this earth and I’m sure His
name wasn’t Paul Spearing!” Well she was right, His name is Jesus Christ.
We are a church that still believes that the Bible is the word of God and that He still changes lives today. If you
do not have a church home or are new to the seacoast area we invite you to visit with us at Blake’s Chapel.
