Life is good! Why do I feel so empty?

There are reasons people sometimes feel down and out.
Employment problems, family discord, school pressures,
struggling relationships
, health-related issues and so on.  You
may be quite successful and everything in your life seems to
be in balance, yet, there is something inside of you that is
missing,
an emptiness. That would not surprise me at all.

God created you to be in relationship with him.  When that is
missing from your life you are empty.

Psalm 14:1a (NIV) says: The fool says in his heart, "There is
no God."  Have you had those periods in your life when you
have asked yourself questions such as: Why am I here?
What is the purpose of life?  When I draw my last breath in
life, then what?  I know that I have asked th
ese questions.

Ecclesiastes 3:11b (NIV) says:  “He [God] has also set
eternity in the hearts of men…”  How do I find out and learn
more
about this?  The good news is that God has not kept
this a secret.  He has made it plain through a number of
ways.  The Bible tells us that creation itself declares the
glory of God.  He sends people into our lives that already
know him and can help us to know him.  He has given us the
Bible itself which is his word declaring his love for us.  The
greatest expression of God
's Love is Jesus Christ himself.

The Bible says in Colossians 1:15 (NIV) that “He [Christ] is
the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all
creation.”  If you want to learn about God, Jesus, life,
eternity, let me encourage you to seek out a church, a family
member or a friend who can help you to find the answers to
life
's questions that you are looking for.

God loves you, he really does.
